How we handle your details
How this website, run by CoolTech Electrical and Airconditioning, handles what you send through its enquiry forms.
What the forms collect
The quote form asks for the kind of work, a description of the job, your suburb or postcode, your name, your mobile number, how you would like us to reply, and optionally your email address and photos of the job. The contact form asks for your name, your mobile number, your message and optionally your email address. Each form asks you to tick a box agreeing to CoolTech using those details to respond, and nothing is sent until you do.
We do not ask for, and you should not send, health, financial or identity information. Quoting an electrical or air conditioning job does not need any of it.
Where your details go
What you enter is sent to CoolTech by email, to the mailbox the business answers enquiries from, and is used to respond to your enquiry and for nothing else. It is not added to a marketing list and it is not sold or shared for any other purpose. The website itself keeps no database of enquiries.
Two services are in the path. Cloudflare hosts this website, runs the part of it that receives the form, and performs the security check that tells a person from an automated script; that check processes details about your connection and browser. Resend is the email delivery service that carries the notification to CoolTech. To limit abuse, the website also keeps a short-lived counter for ten minutes that is derived from your connection address in a way that cannot be reversed back into the address.
Photos you choose to send
Photos are optional. If you add them, they are stored in private storage on Cloudflare rather than attached to the email, and CoolTech reaches them through a private link that stops working after seven days. Stored photos are deleted after ninety days, or earlier if you ask. Photos are never published.
Cookies and tracking
This website sets no advertising or marketing cookies and runs no advertising trackers. The security check on the enquiry forms is the only third-party script the site loads, and it runs solely to protect the forms from automated abuse.
