Ducted Air Conditioning
One central system, out of sight in the roof space, sending conditioned air through ducts to the rooms you choose.
Ducted suits whole homes and larger spaces where individual wall units are not practical. Conditioned air is distributed through ceiling outlets, and the system can be planned around selected rooms or zones, subject to property suitability.

Who suits ducted
Whole homes, larger homes, and anyone who wants several rooms conditioned without a wall unit in each. If you only need one or two rooms, a split system is usually the more sensible answer, and we will say so.
New builds and existing homes
In a new build, ducted is planned from the floor plan before the frame closes, which is the ideal moment. In an existing home it depends mainly on roof space for the unit and duct runs, and on access for the installation.
Zones and controls
A ducted system can be divided into zones, so bedrooms and living areas are conditioned when they are used rather than all at once. How the home is zoned is part of the design conversation, not a fixed package.
The electrical side, handled together
A ducted system needs its own electrical supply, and the switchboard has to carry it. CoolTech is licensed for both trades, so the circuit and the system arrive as one job with one person responsible.

The best time to think about Air Conditioning is while the house is still a plan. Unit positions, duct routes and the electrical supply all land better when they are designed in rather than worked around.
Designed from the floor plan
Room use decides the system. North-facing living areas, bedrooms, and how the family actually occupies the house determine whether selected rooms or the whole home should be conditioned, and where indoor units or outlets belong.
Positioning decided early
Outdoor condensers need a sensible position for noise, access and airflow. Indoor units and duct outlets need the right rooms and the right ceilings. All of it is easy on paper and expensive after handover.
Sequenced with the build
Duct runs and cabling go in while the frame is open, and the finished units are commissioned near the end. We work in with the stages of the build so nothing is opened twice.
One trade fewer to coordinate
The system needs its own circuits and board capacity. Because CoolTech holds both trades, the electrical supply and the Air Conditioning arrive as one coordinated scope, tested and handed over working.
What actually decides the job
We look at the space before recommending anything. Room size, layout, insulation and where the outdoor unit can sensibly sit all change the answer, and a system that suits one room will struggle in another.
Installation is where an air conditioner is made or ruined. Pipe runs, mounting, drainage and sealing are the parts you stop noticing when they are done properly. Installation work carries a five-year warranty.
